1. Introduction
Welcome to Revela.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Revela mobile applications, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services") operated by The Self Made Labs LTD ("Company", "we", "our", or "us").
By accessing or using Revela, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Services.
2. What is Revela?
Revela is an event photo sharing platform designed to help people collect, organize, and relive memories from their special moments.
With Revela, users can:
- Create private event albums
- Invite guests using a link or QR code
- Collect photos from participants
- Upload photos from camera or gallery
- Choose whether photos appear instantly or unlock later using Reveal Mode
Revela can be used for weddings, trips, birthdays, graduations, celebrations, private gatherings, corporate events, and other special occasions.
3. Account Registration
Some features of Revela may require you to create an account.
When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Keep your account secure
- Be responsible for activity occurring under your account
You may sign in using:
- Sign in with Apple
- Google Sign-In
You are responsible for maintaining access to your authentication provider account.
If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, please contact us.
4. Guest Access
Certain Revela events may allow participation without creating an account.
Guest users may:
- Join events using invitation links or QR codes
- Upload photos
- View event content depending on event settings
By using Revela as a guest, you also agree to these Terms.
5. User Content
Revela allows users to upload and share content, including but not limited to:
- Photos
- Event images
- Profile images
- Text information
- Other materials submitted through the Services
You retain ownership of the content you upload.
By uploading content to Revela, you grant us a limited license to:
- Host
- Store
- Process
- Display
- Transmit
your content only as necessary to operate and provide the Services.
We do not claim ownership of your photos.
6. User Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you upload or share through Revela.
You agree not to upload content that:
- Violates another person's rights
- Contains unauthorized copyrighted material
- Invades someone’s privacy
- Contains harassment, threats, or hate speech
- Promotes illegal activities
- Contains harmful or malicious content
We reserve the right to remove content or restrict access if we believe it violates these Terms or applicable laws.
7. Event Privacy and Photo Sharing
Each Revela event has its own privacy and visibility settings.
The event creator may control:
- Who can access the event
- When uploaded photos become visible
- Whether Reveal Mode is enabled
When you upload content to an event, you understand that your content may become visible to other event participants based on the event settings.
Please only upload content you are comfortable sharing within that event.
8. Reveal Mode
Reveal Mode allows event creators to keep uploaded photos hidden until a selected reveal time.
During this period, participants may continue uploading photos while the gallery remains locked.
Once the reveal time arrives, photos may become available according to the event settings.
We do our best to ensure Reveal Mode works as expected, but delays may occur due to:
- Technical issues
- Internet connection problems
- Maintenance
- Third-party service interruptions
9. Subscriptions and Premium Features
Revela may offer free and paid features.
Premium subscriptions or purchases may provide access to features such as:
- Increased event limits
- Larger photo storage capacity
- Additional event customization
- Advanced features
- Extended storage options
Purchases are processed through:
- Apple App Store
- Google Play Store
Payment processing is handled by these platforms according to their own terms and policies.
10. Subscription Renewal and Cancellation
Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions through:
- Your Apple account settings
- Your Google Play account settings
Deleting the Revela application does not automatically cancel your subscription.
Revela does not directly control App Store or Google Play billing processes.
11. Refunds
Refund requests for in-app purchases are handled according to the policies of the platform where the purchase was made.
For refunds, please contact:
- Apple App Store support
- Google Play support
Revela cannot directly issue refunds for purchases processed by these platforms.
12. Acceptable Use
When using Revela, you agree not to:
- Abuse or disrupt the Services
- Attempt unauthorized access
- Interfere with security systems
- Use automated systems to misuse the platform
- Upload harmful software
- Violate laws or regulations
- Harm other users or their experience
13. Service Changes
Revela is continuously evolving.
We may:
- Add new features
- Modify existing features
- Remove certain functionality
- Update the Services
We do not guarantee that every feature will always remain available.
14. Account Termination
You may stop using Revela or delete your account at any time.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Violate these Terms
- Abuse the platform
- Create security risks
- Violate applicable laws
15. Data and Content Availability
We take reasonable measures to protect user content and maintain service reliability.
However, we cannot guarantee that data loss will never occur.
We are not responsible for losses caused by:
- Technical failures
- User actions
- Third-party service interruptions
- Events outside our reasonable control
to the extent permitted by applicable law.
16. Third-Party Services
Revela may use third-party services for:
- Authentication
- Cloud storage
- Payments
- Analytics
- Notifications
- Infrastructure
Your use of these services may also be subject to their respective terms and policies.
17. Intellectual Property
All Revela-related:
- Branding
- Logos
- Designs
- Software
- User interfaces
- Features
- Technology
are owned by The Self Made Labs LTD or its licensors.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any part of Revela without permission.
18. Limitation of Liability
Revela is provided on an "as available" basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Self Made Labs LTD is not responsible for:
- User-generated content
- Actions of other users
- Third-party services
- Loss of content caused by circumstances outside our control
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If significant changes occur, we may notify users through appropriate methods.
Continuing to use Revela after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
